David A. Micheletti - Vice President of Business Development
and Program Management
David Micheletti serves as the SPG Vice President of Business Development and Program Management. Mr. Micheletti possesses approximately forty years of experience in aerospace/defense program management, systems engineering, test and evaluation, and logistics engineering in the areas of advanced propulsion systems, space launch/upper-stage vehicles, intercontinental ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and advanced energy systems. He has led some of the nation’s most complex aerospace technology research and development programs, including the “U.S. Army Mariah Hypersonic Wind Tunnel Development Program.” Mr. Micheletti served in the U.S. Air Force as an Aerospace Engineering Officer, where he managed all system engineering activities for the Minuteman Missile System at Malmstrom AFB, Montana and directed the design, installation, and check-out for all Space Shuttle ground support equipment (GSE) at the Vandenberg AFB, California Space Shuttle Launch and Landing Site.
Mr. Micheletti possesses a B.S. Degree in Engineering Science from Montana Tech and an M.E. Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Idaho. Mr. Micheletti is a retired U.S. Navy Reserve Engineering Office. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Montana Aerospace Development Association (MADA), which is a State-wide, non-profit organization whose mission is to support and facilitate the State of Montana’s initiative to develop a significant aerospace/defense technology industry within Montana.
