SPG's primary engineering facilities are located in Sunnyvale, California consisting of 10,000 sq. ft. of office, lab and manufacturing space. Two large "hi-bay" areas allow in-house development and testing of new fuel and oxidizer technologies for advanced hybrid and bi-propellant propulsion applications.

Apart from the Sunnyvale offices, SPG has a permanent motor test site located in Lakeport, California that has been developed to conduct cost effective motor and component tests with minimum turn around time. The Lakeport facility can be used to test paraffin based hybrid rockets with thrust levels up to 1,000 lb.

In addition, SPG conducts large-scale motor testing at the Aerotec facility in Butte, Montana.
