"Clean, Safe, Affordable Propulsion Through Innovation"

Mr. Mark Marzoña - Research Engineer

Mr. Marzoņa holds a B.S. ('06) and M.S. ('08) in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. As a student, he studied subjects that included physical gas dynamics, thermosciences, fluid dynamics, and propulsion while familiarizing himself with hardware, manufacturing, and processing techniques through various project based courses and research assistantships.

Prior to joining SPG Mark worked as an RA at the Stanford High Temperature Gas Dynamics Laboratory's Expansion Tube Facility where he assisted in studying cross-flow fuel injection in supersonic streams for use in scramjet propulsion. He has also worked for Raytheon Missile Systems as a systems engineer on a line of their ballistic missile defense systems. While earning his Masters' degree Mark joined the Stanford/NASA Ames/SPG Peregrine Sounding rocket program which he continues to serve on as an SPG employee.
